Can't comment the Avenger, since I'm not aware of whether it is a unique kit (like the GT and GTII) or a copy of an original. I always thought it was something like a Ford GT40, and race car fans are a wide market. Hey Jeff, You Obviously know what you are talking about. I just wanted to point out something about the Avenger. While you are right about it being inspired by the GT40 of the day, the model is not of a GT40. This kit was even complete with the Fiberfab emblems on the hood, and sides of the car as seen on the box Now it could be that IMC did that to avoid any licensing with ford, but who knows

There is a company in Florida that does A/C for bugs. If I am not mistaken last weekend I was told it was 1200 or 1600 Installed. I know you are in Kansas but its worth a call to pick their brain a bit www.gilmore-enterprises.net/

Hey Jeff,
There was a model made of the avenger GT12 back in the day. It was made by IMC . Now I am sure the avenger had larger production numbers but they did make one of it.

I would go with the V6 SHO. I have owned 3 of them and they are much better than the V8. As a suggestion I would make sure if the car has not had it 60k mile service you do it before you even put it in the car. Remember one more thing. They are NOT cheap to maintain.

This is so frustrating...in this age of technology and one-off prototyping, it's tough to believe that there are no other options. Do windshields work like eyeglasses where there is a standard way to measure what is needed? I would really like to compare these dimensions to the millions of other windshields out there - something has to be close enough to use. This is exactly why I asked what makes it so difficult. I cant imagine that someone cant clone that windshield for a decent price

Check with Jeff Troy He sales the manual (GT and GT2) on CD and makes a molded version of the hood and engine lid emblems. If you want larger copies of the pages take the CD to your local print shop and they can make the copies. I use snagit to inlarge the image and then print a small portion of the image to work with. Wyn Thanks Wyn, I collect a lot of old kit car stuff and really want an original emblem and manual.

Dumb question. What makes this windshield so difficult for a autoglass place to make? I had a windshield for a 55 buick special cut in Florida for $500 . Now mind you that was 15 years ago,
