I am considering a GTII as a campus car for my son. He's at Northern IL Univ an hour west of Chicago. Car will have to have heat/defroster. My dad had a GT 30 years ago, so I'm a little familiar with the GT in general, but know next to nothing about the GTII. Is heat installed on them? if you pick one up that doesn't have heat, can it be added? How much (guesstimate)? Are there any electric heaters with aux fans to improve the heating system?
Any generl help with this research before a buy would be much appreciated.

Defrost is your only outlet for heat as long as the engine has heat exchangers

There are booster fans that help air flow but don't create extra heat.
Probably not the best car for an IL winter.

The Bradley GT is not a car you want to drove on snow. The time I did, it was like steering a toboggan. The front end just climbed right up on the snow and zig zaged all the way to storage.
