We've been knocking ourselves out to find the right gasket. I'm looking for one that will do the job that isn't too chunky. And white is preferred to match our interior. Any thoughts?
thanks jeffrey

There are so many shades of white. Anything that doesn't match shade perfectly will draw the eye to it. You could try Krylon paint on black rubber. It will work but will have to be touched up from time to time. I've used this trick on hot rods. No heavy coats of course. A white interior with doorways framed in black rubber isn't bad either since "we humans tend to dismiss a dark perimeter to focus on its lighted interior" as my college art prof used to harp. It was on the test.

Too big for the Avenger. I have absolutely no spacial acuity!!!!
There goes $50. It might work well on the Bradley. I cut off a small section if you would like to try it. It bent around a 90 degree turn pretty well.

Which one were you thinking of buying? There are four in the link. I was looking at #2 but noticed it doesn't quite line up with the original plans for the Bradley GT II. The circle was more lopsided. If this works well for you folks, then I'll jump in and order some as well. The dirt and decay on the stripping on my car is prompting me to replace sooner than later.
Thanks,

Hi Jeff, Since you live pretty close to JC Whitney why don't you just drive down there and look at their stock in person? I got my weatherstripping from them several years ago, and they had a large selection to choose from. Gary Hammond,

I just got the U channel I ordered from JC Whitney. I'm working on doing my back window and trunk on my Bradley GT II. Good quality material, too bad the window hinges and gas struts are in the way.
Nothing is easy on this car.

i have really been trying to understand what the U channel looks like and what the "L" channel is made for the "sun downer " back. I still would perfer to put on a 'new' smoked fast back like the car had when i got it ...but ... big sigh

Zmud,
Awesome job on your Bradley. Looking at yours almost makes me consider getting a regular Bradley in addition to the GT II I already have.

I have followed the discussions on door and trim gaskets from way back when. I have gone to the J C Whitney website as shown above and have found many types of push on gaskets. Can anyone give me the correct ones (part number) to use on my GT's

Zmud, did you have to install a vent line to use the filler cap you are using when filling, or does the single 1.5" hose vent fast enough with the nozzle in it and the fuel going in? Are there any bends in your filler tube?
