So I got around to trying to move my grandfathers GT out of it's parking space of more than 20 years. I dug the wheels out of the ground, filled them with air and got some friends to push and pull it but with our collective intelligence we realized that the brake drums were most likely frozen (duh right?). After jacking it up and and locating which wheels were stuck we pulled the wheels off and set to work on the drums but no amount of banging and prying will get them unstuck. Does anyone have any advice for unsticking the brakes?

This may be a dumb question but did you back the adjusters all the way off? Also break the bleeders open just to make sure nothing somehow is holding pressure. If no go break out the torch an heat up the drums and see if that will break the pads loose. Also the e brake cables are loose right? Good luck!! Eric A.
