Uploaded with ImageShack.usSome things were just never meant to be. After spending over 6 months getting this car running, we just werent a good fit for each other. I sold it on Ebay, and after a lengthy transportation issue, she was picked up and taken away today. Her new owner, a nice lady in Tennessee, is very excited about bringing her home. Im going to tell her about this site and she can read all about my restoration from day 1. Im not going to miss her, but Ill say it was an awesome learning experience. Everyone here contributed so much to me, I just thought Id say thank you. Ill check in from time to time, but do to a hectic military schedule, Im going to be out of town frequently and wont be picking up another project very soon. Thanks again to everyone. And so this chapter closes.

Well, its already off on a bad note. When I sent the car away, there were a few lug nuts that were stripped and wouldnt tighten to the stud.....The shipper called the new owner and 'fixed' my stripped lugnuts to the tune of 250 dollars.......Now his story is changing, and hes claiming the studs were stripped. This poor woman doesn't even have the car yet and shes getting soaked for money.....I told her up front- some lugs are stripped, but the studs are fine......

My question would be, What the hell is the shipper doing WORKING on the car? He's supposed to SHIP it......!!!!!
