9.5" tall at the base. So lets say 2" of that is the side bolster. Where your butt will sit is 7.5" then....plus 2" for the adjusters. Go put a 10" tall box on the floor of the Bradley and see how far back you will have to lean to fit your head in.

im 5'5" and can climb right under my dash lol! so clearance isnt too big deal for me but i just measured my bradley seats with brackets sitting on basement floor and got almost 7in and those seats are alot softer so im sure youll shrink a little. but after thinking.......im really leaning toward a pair of the rci high back racing buckets for about 130 w/covers. they look almost exactly same except for headrest is straight.i will then try just the covers on my seats,if they fit, sell just the buckets. if not then i will still have complete almost orig seats. summit racing has the rci if anyone wants to check out.

I was going to buy some seats and started looking around and found two different kinda seat that fit perfect for the bradley. The first one's are out of a fiero. They have plenty of clearance and recline. The second ones and the one's i'm using are out of a 99 camaro a tad smaller than the fiero one's and they were in better shape. If you check the local junk yards i'm sure you can find some really nice seats for a cheap price!

I got seats out of a Saturn, I sit right around 6" off the pan with those seats, and laying waaaaay back, I still hit my head on the roof.
I figured I have to cut at least 4 inches off the thickness of the seat in order to have my eyes in the middle of the windshield. (I'm 5' 10")
so you being 5'5" will really help, but you'll probably still need to recline a bit.

Lol I agree completly. Guy just wanted to get rid of it fast so he said it was a 1915, I dont mind, I dont need to much power for my bradley. The hole is definitly getting fixed sooner than never.

Question of the day: How big of a wheel/tire combo can I go with to fit in my Bradley GT? I plan on running some drop spindles up from and dropping the rear a notch or two. What are the biggest tires some of you guys would run? Reason why I ask is because I scored some pretty nice rims in the above picture that I would like to make work. I was going to put some low profile tires on it, im just worried about the steering... Thanks in advance, Matt

The car I recently purchased has rims and tires from an 1984 corvette. Tires are a 255/50-16 . I have not taken them off yet to see if they have any spacers or anything.

Unless someone has installed 4 wheel disk brakes {with the Chev pattern} or had blank drums drilled for the Chevy bolt pattern, you will have wheel adapters that will shift your wheels out about 1" on each side.

The 255 50R16s that are on my ARE 398 wheels seem to fit my Avenger. Those are with 1" adapters.

I have not even bothered to look. It would be nice if it had disc brakes

Hi everybody, I am a new member of the forum, living on Puerto Rico. Good luck with your project, man. I got a Bradley GT that I bought running...but haven't touched in 4 years, so is looking like an abandoned car right now. I am planning to start working on the project soon, and I found this forum on the web. Write more later, have a nice day everybody!
