for those who are interested I spent sometime working on the new website today. If you want to take a peak go to www.bradleygt.org it still needs a lot of work but it is getting there. I need a good header pic of a GTII and a Boat if someone has one. Also what do you all think should go on the Parts page? I want everyones input on this so it is a useful site! Thanks, Eric A. P.S. the limos will be replaced with bradleys!

I am hoping that a FAQ section will help stop my endless email I get each week. While I never mind helping a fellow Bradley owner I do get tired of answering the same 15 questions over and over again. I also want to get the member profile and pic page back up like it use to be. I have seen more requests for that since it went down then any other feature. Also I won't lie it has some self serving link back benifit to me. Except for the few $ for the domain name it was all stuff I had anyway so really it just some time. Eric A

For those of you interested, this guy is trying to use our (rather, Kyle's) site to promote his own business, photography, weddings, all that.
We do not need a new website. And why are YOU getting emails regarding this site? I just plain don't understand why YOU are the focus of such. Do you?
As far as the effort to bring people back here, no content in your so-called website is required!
What do you not understand?
Just put a redirect at the top!
And then do the mass-mailing using the list of former members, but point them to HERE and not your site which will only confuse them.
Here is the code:
<meta http-equiv="REFRESH" content="0;url=http://bradleygt.com.probards.com/index.cgi">
Put it in the friggin header and that's it.

Okay you need to simmer down. Kyle's site is unusable even you said that. I do not get emails due to this site. I get emails due to my other Bradley site palmcoastphoto.com/brad that I have had for years and years. It comes up very high in google when you search for Bradley gt so people email me because I am first on the list. It is a free country and I may build whatever website I want. Since it is my companies money paying for the domain and hosting and my time I do not feel that I not an a##hole for adding a link back to my company site to help my rankings. I am not collecting information with this site and selling it I am not collecting email addresses so I can spam people I am not selling those email addresses and I will hap ply show you the code if you don't believe me. I just want the link back. My company has been in business for 14 years and I do not travel more then 20 miles from Venice fl so no one on this site is even a potential customer for me. I was just trying to do something nice for the group and fun for me. But if I am going to take s##t for trying to help you like my motorcycle club who I did newsletters for and did all the graphic design work for for free just so everyone who themselves would not step up and help can f**k off!!!!!!!!! Eric A
Sorry I tried to help I will not come back to this site after I was one of it's first members

MJ, I am getting quite sick and tired of YOU! I don't know what has recently happened that has made you so bitter - but I hope you mellow out or leave this board. You are ruining the one thing we had going here - being a friendly source of info and being good public relations for Bradley owners.
THIS is NOT a website. It is a message board. That's it. It has a difficult address to remember and does not come up on the search engines very well. I don't know if you got deep enough into his site to figure it out, but his message board link came right back to here. He was trying to provide an easy to remember name and give us back some (and maybe add more) features to make it so we have a complete site again that can be useful to everyone.
I hope Eric reconsiders and continues with the project, because I for one would greatly appreciate it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm (and I hope others will to) going to contact Eric and try to convince him that the opinion of one grumpy old man does not reflect all of us at this site.
MJ, you may be intelligent, but you are not very wise. Please don't ruin this for the rest of us.
Regards

Okay, Eric and Green Car - I quit. You are so very wise. So intelligent. I am going away and will never return.
KYLE - Thanks for the many, many years of great work.
I'm gone.

Hey Eric, I'm looking forward to the new site! I hope you are still considering it. Looks GREAT so far.
Centralvalley, I've followed the work you've done to your car and it looks great. MJ, it a shame you have to add your negativity to every new discussion. Sounds like your gone. Probably best for everyone.
I got my first bradley 2 years ago and this site and most on it have been great, but it definitely leaves you wanting more.
I'm looking forward to seeing what you put together Eric. Thanks again.

Eric, I have already said I support the new site, Don't let one guy dictate what you do. Most of us are here for information, or to share it. MJ jumped me because there is a firetruck on my site, and called me a poser(he mis-spelled that) That truck was given to me and I restored it, I drove that truck for 10 years as a Volunteer Fireman for Vance Volunteer Fire Dept. Now for the site suggestion, I am 63 years old, the RED text is extremely hard for me to read. I belong to another site also, www.chevelles.com I like the way the different sections are set up, makes it easy to find posts on what you are looking for, for instance, All paint and body questions go in the body shop section. Please keep up the good work !!

P.S. I changed the text to white and I think it is much easier to read. Let me know what you think.

Looks much better, before it was just a red blurrrrrr to me. Please feel free to use any pictures or content on my site, My only goal with the site is to help other GT II owners. I will soon be adding all the pictures of new parts and hardware, and prices of parts I have replaced.

I am truly sorry that mj is choosing to leave rather than continue to contribute - but in a civil manner. He has been part of this community a long time and contributed much positively. He obviously has much to offer in terms of experience and knowledge of physics. I just don't know why (and couldn't get him to say) what was different in the last month or so that made him become so tyrannical with us. There was a definite change in his attitude as of late. I'm hoping that the old mj will come back.
Sincerely,

There is no reason why an additional site or forum can not be started, it's STILL a free country & competition is is good . I'm also on a Honda Gold Wing forum & there are alot out there. I went with the one " I " like the best! I liked this forum before & wish the old site could be fixed, even for money. There's was ALOT of info on it, including my post on the Bradley GTII I'm building. Would like that info back! I always see links on different forums to another one. I post little on one & link it to the one I like & has all of the info, or like to post link to "webshots" where I post all of my picture as this, good-times.webshots.com/album/569461591kCFfioThere are 207 pictures just on the GTII build. I just finished a Trike build on www.goldwingfacts.com/forums/forum1/79845-1.html"MJ" is a great guy, leave him alone, he has the RIGHT to type his mind anywhere he wants. I like his or anyones post or reply as long as it doesn't attack his Rights. I didn't risk my live in Vietnam for nothing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Read the Constitution!

Guys I been reading and learning from ALL you you over the past years as I am slowing rebuilding my GT II. The advice, thought and movement forward is very helpful, thank you. That includes Jeff for the CD, MJ for the thoughtful thinking, and everyone who has contributed to this board, which has enabled me to bring the car to where it it is now. This board has been a source of help, info when long time periods result from being away from home and in many cases the primary source of solutions I often seek. What has been is history, let's move forward as owners and solutions managers as best we can. Enough petty bickering and let's move together as builders and owners! BTW I'm including some pics for the first time. Attachments:

hey, I liked the site, very slick.and the address is easy to remember. man losing the old site really hurts but there is no reason we cant go along to get along )I hope the powers that be agree.I just found the site again (had to risk going to the old one to get this address) I really am thankfull for this place to meet but im old and forgetfull and the string of text for a domain name is hard to remember .I hope the guys that ran the old site dont mind your efforts,or think you are poaching their followers. Love,Peace, and Bradley gts

I would like to use one. The way the site is made I don't think they are very easy to get off of there so they should be as safe as anything is on the web. Eric A

Eric, The new site looks good! Quite an eye catcher, and seems pretty well organized so far. My only suggestion would be to replace the limos with stretched GT's or GT II's just for the fun of it. ;D
Nice work!

Hi Eric, Just went on your new site again a little while ago. It's coming along very nicely! I think it looks really good with the new Bradley pictures. ;D Keep up the good work. Your new site complements this message board very well. ;D And please fell free to re-post any pictures I've already posted. I've got lots of other pictures and a lot of technical info if you want to use any of it. Gary Hammond,

eric, new site looking great, and best of all a way easier URL which hopefully we can get up in the rankings so all members can find us.
just a suggestion. maybe move the featured photo and arrows up (way up) in the page and crop it all tighter, it'll let the critical information thats at the bottom move up higher in the more active real estate. also a slight design change may let you feature more cars without having to cut them out. just some thoughts, but looking good!

Hey all, just getting back on in about a month. Lots going on since I left. So let me chime in a little here. The delay on a new site has been more of me wanting something better. Maybe the easy answer here is putting up a more simple site first, then working towards something more advanced. I'm one of those people that doesn't like to do something half way, but that would make it easier to get things back up and running. SO I will look into that for now and get bradleygt.com working again.
To address a couple of other things. People mentioned the long list of owners on the old owners list. The owners list has always been one of my biggest pet peeves. I love it and want one, but people register and then disappear. In other words, you SEE a long list, but those people are all gone with dead email links.
Some of the back and forth here has been really unnecessary and I'm kind of disappointed to see it. There is a great group of people that have been here for years and years. I also see a lot of new people. The whole point of the site is to keep people in touch. I did lots of work to put out other info on the site, but what you find is people wont READ before they just send an email to ask. In other words, the only thing that was ever really used was the message board. Which is still here and working. All the active people have made the switch to this board. The old board had 1,500 members, how many do any of you actually remember. Again, there were never 1,500 active people. Hell, we had people with 7 accounts because they couldn't remember their passwords and wouldn't take the time to figure it out.
These are the reasons I'd like a much more advanced site, more along the lines of a social networking site. In the mean time, what some of you pointed out is needed. A simple way to link to this board so people can find it on the net. And with me doing a simple site on Bradleygt.com, I can have that pretty quick. The disadvantage to that is that ALL the info on the current site, will be lost as soon as I change the DNS servers. But that is a lost cause as I'm obviously never going to be able to get in touch with the person running the server.
