Me and my 1976 Bradley GT in 2009. I'm the original owner/builder, and the car now has approximately 645,000 actual miles behind it. Custom interior is all light gray tuck & roll Naugahyde and velour, and all fasteners are polished stainless. Jet-Hot Metallic Ceramic is on the exhaust system and heat exchangers, bumpers and Indy wheels. Paint is DuPont Royal Plum ChromaLusion with pearl semi-ghost flames. Power is a 1600 DP with dual Kadron carburetors, Pertronix electronic ignition and Gene Berg exhaust components. The car has always been a daily driver, built for longevity and reliability, which are far more important to me than driving stupidly fast in a "boardwalk ride with a license plate."

I kind of thought so, thats how it was mounted on the 1600 when i got it. i've taken that off and will be replacing the banged up/duct taped tin with eithe a new chrome one i have laying around, or i may make up my own. either way the oil cooler is getting replaced with a better unit in a better location

There are air directing vanes in the stock unit that are not replicated in aftermarked shrouds.

I need to finish connecting the engine wiring, get the brad painted, get the upholstery completed, install the windows, then what ever little adjustment needed. Then comes the bigest problem get it to the State for inspection and get a new title. If they don't title it, they will take it and crush it. Wyn

Dan its a long and involved Story. But to keep it short! The purpose of this inspection is to verify the ownership of all parts and to review all required documentation. Any parts presented that are questionable or missing vehicle identification numbers are subject to seizure. Documentation required for self-assembled inspections: 1. Titles, receipts, and documentation of the source for the replaced major component parts, which includes the Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) of the source vehicle. If receipts are from a casual sale from an individual, they must be notarized. Photocopies of receipts are not acceptable. 2. The inspecting officer may require receipts or documentation for any part of questionable origin (ORC, Section 4505.11). 3. When "kits" are used, the manufacturer's certificate of origin must be presented. 4. The inspection receipt. Any vehicle or component part bearing a VIN or VIN derivative determined to be stolen/missing or altered will result in the vehicle being impounded and held as evidence and/or seized for forfeiture. bmv.ohio.gov/salvage_inspection.stmusers.alink.com/aeolus/Bradley.htmWyn

All right "Sundowner" is the name of the extended rear windshields. Now here is the trick and can someone help me find one for sale or a company that remakes them?

Sun Ray doesn't make these rear windshields. I have already talked to him over the phone and he only makes the regular rear windshields for $500 each, the gull wing doors for $250 a piece, and the half doors for $100 a piece.

He is the only source as far as I know. The used market is very tough.

Hi Guys, All right "Sundowner" is the name of the extended rear windshields. Now here is the trick and can someone help me find one for sale or a company that remakes them? As Jeff Troy would say, "It's not a rear windshield ---it's a rear window. Windshields are only in the front." And the short removable window is the "sundowner" --- not the long screwed down window which was standard on the early Bradleys. The "sundowner" option consisted of the removable short rear window and pop-up headlights which were extra cost options which later became available separately. Gary Hammond,
