I would recommend a Ron Francis Wiring kit. go to www.ronfrancis.com and look up the following items. BB-695 this has all the bare essental wiring you need. XP-695 this one will be good if you have anything extra that needs power. It is a pain looking up things you may need on the website, there is a place on the site where you can request a free catalog and see what they have to offer. I tried Painless products on a past project, and some other kit i found in JC Witney on a pickup, and I have to say the Ron francis kit has been the most user friendly kit i have used, AND very helpful phone interaction. Good luck!

As far as parts, keep an eye on the classifieds forum here, ebay (just don't bid against me LOL), and any VW car shows, there are usually good finds at the swapmeet sections. If you don't already have one, get a suscribtion to "HOT VWS and Dune Buggies". there is a lot of parts vendors and good information there.
Again, Good Luck!

And don't forget that really none of the wiring harnesses will have the wire you need for the grounds...and there are lots of them.
Plus...depending on what your building your average Bradley can get away with as little as 8 circuits.
