A little bit here, a little bit there & before you know it...you will have a nice Invader GT. Here are a few pics for you to look at. Showing what your model of Invader GT can look like with doors & without the louvers. Also, a raked windshield Invader GT, to show that although not everyone's favorite looking kit car. Truth be told, a finished Invader GT can be pretty d**ned good looking. Remember..you can see the world's largest collection of Invader GT photos at: www.photobucket.com/whcgt

I agree with that. Had any car judge ever looked closely, they would have found the car unfinished with crude workmanship. I will just keep at it & I will solve the issues that this car has. It will take awhile, but it will be a decent car when accomplished.

So very lucky my Astra GT was not burned to the ground in a fireball. Cannot believe the previous owner/or builder..had a fuse block next to the main fuel line. That fuse block was saturated in fuel. I have purchased a brand new fuse block to replace the 3 little fuse blocks. I have relocated it in a proper location. I have begun re-wiring & have new parts on the way. I have a new relay with an integral fuse, plus a new turn signal switch on the way.

Good work, I know the exact same thing that taking down a dirty neglected kit is like. Looks like your car was originally a gelcoat blue color.

Now, you need a Tweetie Bird sticker, for the cooling tin shroud.

Pretty easy just to cut & section/lengthen the Bradley GT rear body area. Just mark an accurate line along the sides & upper rear area, ahead of the rear lip spoiler. Then die grind the line & cut the entire rear body area off. The only thick areas are the bulkheads. Anyhow, cut through those areas, then get some sheetmetal steel. Feather back the fiberglass on the remaining rear body piece & the body cutline. Then fiberglass in the sheet steel, extending the length of the rear body as far as is needed. Then do your finishing layers of fiberglass work , then gelcoat the area & sand & paint. Please do wait for decent weather & temperatures. As fiberglass work is temperature sensative, to cure up correctly. The 1st generation Bradley GT is not exactly a compound curve nightmare in the rear body area. It is pretty slab sided & simple, with a little bit of curvature. You can do this work, I know you can. Then your engine will fit nicely within the body.

There are some nice ones on thesamba. There is a metallic brown GT, that is on the last page of the other vehicles for sale section. It is in Cave Creek, Arizona. It looks totally unmolested & pristine, other than the color of it.

Nice GT2, wonder why they didnt remove the rubber trim, when they painted the car? Is there any type of paint remover that doesnt damage rubber?

Pretty neat idea you found there. I have solved the same issue, with a band clamp & have installed in the car & adjusted. Nice, smooth, & silent, operating clutch pedal. The cable will never slip off..untill I take it off from the pedal assembly, when the time comes to replace the cable.
