Gary, I was actually speaking of the Tahoe and Yukon not the Submarine lol. My Yukon standard length model seats 9. You could remove the rear seat and still seat 6. I have a ford truck and a yukon and i've had nothing but trouble out of the ford !! I've always liked the styling of the Fords but they've been nothing but grief for me !! I have a Taurus in the back yard that needs a transmission, driving down the road and stopped for a light in downtown traffic went to take off and there was no gears there !! Had to push the car into a nearby business with the family aboard !!

don't overlook the yukon and tahoe they can seat up to 9 and come with towing package they are also cheaper on fuel than the ford of comparable size

yes was just thinking the fit would look more natural if it had the same distance from bottom to top on the sides and the front have the differant angle more or less triangled at the base don't get me wrong it looks super and everything you have done has been top notch so i'm not nocking your work not one bit Keep up the good work

Hey Skip, I was just looking at your pics and every time I do the windshield pillars stand out like sore thumbs at the bottom Maybe you could build it up on the side at the bottom to line up the side with the rest of the body. From the pictures it makes the windsield has a differant rake than what it actually is. Please don't take offence could be my eyes! ;D

Can we start with a picture of the engine cradle without the engine first please so we can get a feel of what you're dealing with? This may be a route others will want to take later on.

What would be wrong with using a single hood type spring hinge at an angle. It would have to be a small hinge and the spring would have to be for a light weight because the door only weighs like 7 or 8 pounds cut down without the windows !!

Mine had the mustang style whale tail spoiler fitted to it when I got it. It didn't look to bad but I liked the clean lines of the gtII better without it. Any ways someone butchered the car up pretty good before I got it so I'm gonna make it a roadster. One thing for sure is i've had it for ten years and when I feel like working on it I do but most times it just sits there not bothering noone !!!

If you have fiberglass experience then I'd say to widen the tub and pan and put a wider seat in. That would also solve a lot of problems with lowering the seat and seat selection.
