On my GT2 I run only one wiper - the driver's side. I found a blade that covers most of the rest of the window. Looks cool, too. I'm riding with one wiper also, driver's side; more than necessary.

Has anyone found a good cover for the GT2 that fits? I'll need to leave mine outside for a few weeks while the garage gets taken over for temporary storage of household items. I know if it rains I'll have an aquarium inside, and I will also be transporting on a carrier later in the year so I'd like to keep it covered then also. Don't want to go the polyethelene & rope route not great on the paint. I'm using one for a '80' Ford Mustang, a little to long but right otherwise

HEADLIGHTS, sorry about that, lots of air between my ears lately! a 4" linear electrical actuator is the right choice and I installed a separate DPDT switch for it's operation regardless of the hi/low beam switch. My installation was made from the top of the vehicle but crawling under the body can be made as well with less ease. I started removing all existing hardware and re-using a bracket for the actuator mounting and the existing wiring for dual action power. Could post some pictures as guidance

BTW, I finally got my wheels to turn. The 1967 swingaxle was the problem. 12V model assumed, 6V model reality. I had to grind down the flywheel, order a new clutch brake and make an adjustment to the adaptor hub. It works BUT then I noticed the motor is only rated for 96V which means it shouldn't go past 120V. I ordered a new Impulse 9 motor (the last one they had) which can go up to 170V. (I hate to see 36V of lithium sitting around collecting dust when it cost over $100 for each cell.) Getting close and getting excited. Unfortunately, in WA state, I have to get the car inspected before I can get it licensed. Thanks, Matt, why did you bough another motor? Any common fork lift motor that is rated at 48VDC can be spin as a trany engine at 76 and 92 VDC with out many modifications (advancing the brushes timing) If your original one is factory "rated" at 96VDC, you will be able to run 144 vdc with out any inconvenience' . Man, you should ask for guidance before embarking in an extra expense. But that's your wallet. I'm still battling with the final revision of the motor controller firmware, but it's getting there, really soon.

After my 13th GT2, 1 Jaguar SS100, a Berry Mini T, a Mini T clone and a manx buggy, and a mini t 4...A Saturn Sky, Ford Expedition and a Harley Electra glide Classic...I have determined that there is no such thing as an addiction.. .only a strong desire to die with more toys than anyone else... :o ;D Ohhh, I like your definition.

The GTII windshield/windscreen is unique for the car and there is not a direct replacement. There is one available for sale that I know and it is located in Long Island, NY. The owner's firm asking price is $500.00. It would have to be properly crated to avoid " accidents" while transporting. Crating and shipping, your selection, will be an additional price.

Bad news. They said the master brake cyl is bad and since it is in a bad spot, it will take 10 hours to replace and cost 1500. I told them to forget it. Now, any suggestions? How about recurring to an small mom an pop car repair shop, this type of job is not such a big thing, cumbersome yes. While the place has a lift to work comfortable, is more than sufficient. It is about a 3 hours job having all the parts on hand.

A quote of advice... The only bad thing about this Chinese main land sellers, in general, is that their merchandise takes an eternity to show-up. I ordered a wireless OBD scanner and took over 45 days to show in my mail box; only to save 7 bucks against an American distributor; thaxs G*d I was not in a hurry but I was getting very anxious............

In NYC, NY you do not pass a police inspection with a front 70%. I think it is in the 23 or 30% regulation.

As seatbelts are mandatory after 74 here in Ontario and my GT2 is registered as a 75 I will have to install some. Do to the laid down driving position, do you think 5 point harnesses are a good idea? I have a new set of 5 point racing harnesses but would need to install a roll bar to have something to secure the shoulder straps to...Your thoughts? Any pics of what you use, if any. I have a 4 point seat belt and it feels very comfortable. The shoulder straps are fasten to the lower rear seat with a pan reinforcement assembly.

Thanks, that diagram really helps. Not to beat this issue too much...but two last questions. On the back of the ammeter (Bradley stock) which is + and which is - (there is a top post and a bottom post for connections) and what wires go on each besides what is indicated in the diagram? If I get this fixed, Bradley might be on the road in less than two weeks!!! Sons 18th B-day is June 3 so he is excited. Thanks! If the post of the Ammeter are not mark, I will describe you the connections on mine. Looking at the meter by the front, the post in the left is the source or (+) battery connection. The right HS will be distribution or all car wiring side. With some load, the needle should have a movement to higher numbers; if that's not the case, invert your connections; battery (+) to the right HS post and so on....... It's no more complicated than that.

There is always this one coming up. Dec. 21, 2012, the Mayans "predicted" the end of the world with one of their calendars. On this date, doomsayers assert that Earth will be ravaged by a smorgasbord of cataclysmic astronomical events -- everything from a Planet X flyby to a "killer" solar flare to a geomagnetic reversal, ensuring we have a very, very bad day. For this particular day I will have the Motrin jar near by, just in case...
