It was the 1979 Complete Guide to Kit Cars. Again not saying it is accurate. Just pointed out that it was the first time I seen what I would say was a major publication at the time say it was the same windshield....

Jeff,
I posted the original article that came from a Complete Guide to Kit Cars book from about the time the GT2 was introduced. It was in no way to stir the pot of what windshield will and will not fit. It was just as you said . From an "expert" publication of the time. I did pose the question "Had anyone ever tried a Vette Windshield" and I believe I even that I could not believe that nobody ever did. More out of curiosity to see how close it would have been . From my glasses wearing eyes it does appear to be close.
I guess they way I look at it is they did not design the entire car and then go "Hey now we need a windshield" . They also did not design a windshield and then say "Now lets build a car around it" It appears at first glance that they "recycled" The roof section where the top of the window is to to where the T-top starts. Once again I am blind but I do have 100s of GT and GT2 photos and at least the top half of the glass appears to be the same.
Again . As I said above. I am certain that somewhere along the line someone put a vette windshield on a GT2 and realized it did not fit. Im sure people on this board have done so. I have never seen anyone say when they did what the outcome was and either how bad it was off or even how close. I have also never seen in literature, or order form that had a line item for a replacement windshield, but I would imagine the build manual would say custom windshield. I just do not recall.

Just going by what the article says. And I have looked at hundreds of pics and they do not look very different. Not saying they are not but its not like a fox body vs z28 different hahaha

I posted the article. It was from an old issue of The Complete Guide to kit cars. It does in fact say both cars used the same windshield. Also in my searches I found that Varicon made replacement windshield for many cars both factory and kit cars such as cobra reps.
As I said looking at the photos they do look close but at the same time I cant imagine that in all these years nobody tried it to be sure they were not the same...hahaha
This is what the article said ...
"The Glass treatment Throughout the GT2 is much more functional and durable. Visibility is much improved by triangular rear quarter windows and a hatch that operates on gas assist cylinders. Both models use the 63-67 CORVETTE windshield but the GT has a tinted Acrylic rear window while the newer model uses tempered safety glass"

Hey Everyone,
I am in need of a hood badge in good condition. I do not need a resin one, but metal one. Let me know if any of you have one and what you want for it.
Thanks

I posted this one earlier. Good laugh for sure. I will say if some sucker comes on here saying they bought it and it is anywhere close to that asking price I will be retiring from the racing business and buying up all the old GTs I can hahahahah

Its not even worth trying to figure out. In the end it adds no value to the car. If they did build it that amounts to nothing . Enjoy !

I know of a windshield in Florida but it would be VERY expensive to get shipped. I can check on a price, but I would bet its in the $500-$650 range plus the cost to crate and ship.

Hey everyone,
I am looking for someone who would be interested in spending an hour or two a month helping with blog posts at priceofhistoys.com . If you can make a post on a forum you can do this. If all you want to do is write about bradleys you find in the wild, online, or whatever that is fine. If you are interested in other kit cars thats ok too . I just ask that the posts are 200-300 words and have pics.
I do this for fun on the side so I would expect anyone interested to do the same.
If you are interested let me know.
Thanks

I have a solidoodle 2 as well as a filastruder to make my own abs filament on the fly. No need to buy a bunch of rolls. I had a friend create the cad file for me. I will also be picking up a 3d scanner shortly

Hey everyone, I broke down a few weeks ago and picked up a 3d printer. I wanted to share my first attempt at making a Bradley Emblem. Quality is ok but it did take about 45 minutes to make.

Yes there is. I found out about an auction and I wanted a car that was in it. Unfortunately they do not have online bidding and such. Had I found out about it last week I could have flown out, but just a few days before I cant change my schedule enough to make it happen.
