Hi, Superdave, My disks are CDs, not DVDs. If you're looking for a DVD, you're not looking for me. My Cd is $35 PayPal to jefftroy@aol.com . Postage is free. Be sure to specify GT or GTII. CDs are very different. Best regards, Jeff Jeff Troy has CDs available with some info about the electric. He'd be the person to get in touch with for info.

Took my new-to-me GTII on a break-in drive about a week ago. Went from Springfield MO to Bradleyville (come on, its too good to not stop) and got called out at a gas station along the route! A gentleman walked up to me asking a few probing questions, and taking some pictures. He talked to me about how hes been a Bradley fan since they were introduced, but never had seen one running in person. I was thoroughly overjoyed to be able to share such a moment with him. Im interested to hear any special moments yall have had with your Bradley through the years. Anyone got stories? Pics from Bradleyville add your photo to a gif

The nameplate from the original Bradley compressor: No. A-670161 Pt. CF206R-20297 York Automotive Bear in mind that this is a freon 12 compressor so you won't be able to purchase a new one but you may be able to find something to replace it. You will also need to replace the expansion valve when switching freons So with, say, an r134 compressor swap, would anything else need changing? Expansion valve was mentioned, what about the dryer, evaporator, or condenser? Could i use those with a different refrigerant?

Howdy all! I just recently bought my first Bradley GT II this past week. While going over all the nooks and crannies, I discovered that this particular car was fitted with factory AC at some point. I see a Condenser with a fan behind the front splitter, a dryer in the wheel well, and lines running back. Not sure if my air box has all the necessary components yet, but if it does, what are my options for a compressor? I would like to get it looking as close to stock as possible, but I wager most of the original Bradley supplied pumps are all long dead or in use. What specs should I be looking for in a replacement compressor? Thanks!

Alright. Well, I posted my bug on several locations (CL, TheSamba, and a local club board). I posted it for 6,500 after being informed that the minor paint issues may be worse that I think. Either way, in the process, I found a BEAUTIFUL GT 2 for sale a few hours away from me that was built and garaged by a collector. He's asking 5k for it and I think that sounds pretty fair given it's condition. I will be visiting it the next week or so. He agreed to take a down payment on the car until the bug sells IF I absolutely fall in love with it. Otherwise its back to looking and waiting.
Thanks for all the feedback guys. Since I saw one 8 or 9 years ago, I've been dreaming of owning a Bradley, and I'm really glad that this community is around and so supportive as to help make that a reality. Thank you guys!

Called for info on this one. No engine, interior is shot, and he refused to post more pictures or discuss the status of the car or paperwork. Even as a parts car, I'd like to know about the condition of the parts!

I have another vehicle to use as a daily driver, so Im not expecting the gt2 to be anything more than a toy. I was just looking for some ideas of how to make the most of what I have to reach my GT II goals. As for selling to a collector, 10k? Really? For a 76 bug...? Ill have to look into that, because restoration is very much on the table for this bug.

Howdy everyone! I just bought myself a beautiful 1976 vw beetle, all original with very little rust or wear. I want to turn this beauty into a bradley gt II, but have no idea where to start or what the best course of action would be.
Currently, i have rather limited funds, as im paying my way through school. So my ideas for the project were: A) part out the bug body and try to make enough money selling body parts and interior to at least help afford a decent bradley kit B) try to find someone who will trade a beautiful bug for a complete, but maybe not finished, bradley gt ii Or C) possibly get a second job and just brute force my way to affording a kit.
Any thoughts on what you think would work best are appreciated.
