guys i think you missed the point about these cars in relation to my first post. they would give me the two cars i would need to make a mold of the gt2 roof, then make a part and graft it on the gt,is all i was saying. also, how would you know how much work was needed on the gt2? it also doesn't matter to me as i am a welder and i paint and do all my own wiring and anything else it might need including engine building. this was all just a mental excercise as i don't have the money anyway.

you misunderstood what i said. i didn't say i was going to sell them. i was talking about doing it for myself. i also thought if it came off good, maybe i would make a mold and make new Bradley gt2's with the gt windshield frame in it. i don't think anyone would buy one though, as i would have to make everything else for it too. i am not looking for a new career. it would just be for me, as i said. what got me thinking about all this is there are two Bradley's on craigslist right now. one is a gt for 1500 runs and looks good. the other is a gt2 for 1200 without a motor and needs paint. have a look. i would buy both of them but i just don't have the money as i just bought 2 other cars in the last month. gt orangecounty.craigslist.org/cto/5938076397.htmlgt2 inlandempire.craigslist.org/cto/5941058619.html

I thought about starting a new thread, but figured "what the heck", this is still here. To get to the matter at hand. What is the difference between the gt and the gt2 windshield? Is the gt still available and the gt2 is not? I am very adept at 'glass work, as I build molds and parts. Being trained by one of the original makers of 'glass parts for drag racing, Cal Auto, back in the late '50's. I said all that to say this, nothing scares me when making glass stuff. Now to my original thought. If gt windshields are still available, how about modifying the window opening to accept the gt windshield? Or, how about making a mold of the complete roof of a gt2, less the windshield area, and adapt it to the gt roof? viola! Instant gt2. Obviously, there are a bunch of other things that would have to be done, but this is something that is not out of my wheel house. I am asking all you fine gentlemen these question because I don't have a Bradley yet and I like the gt2 best, so I am just looking ahead. OK, now tell me how crazy I am to spend this much time and money on a car you can buy for nickels and dimes, you wont hurt my feelings. My wife tells me this all the time. thanks, gary
