Hi, I am about to bring my GT to the CHP office for inspection, to get a new CA title. The original old title of a WA title that says" VW". The CHP officer would probably write "SPCN" (special construction) unless I will show him example of titles that say "Bradley". I ready want the title to say "Bradley" and not VW or CPCN.
Does anyone have a title saying "Bradley" or Bradley GT", that you can a copy? Hide all delays (names, numbers, etc..) I just want to show the CHP that a title saying "Bradley" actually exists.
Thanks!

Hi can anyone show here a photo of how the front bumpers are connected in a GT?
I have two steel pipes to hold the bumpers but not sure how to connect them..
Thanks!

Hi, does someone know where can I get door lifters for the GT? I have a photo but can't add it here... they hold the door in open position with the first "click" and let it close with the second "click". Thanks.

Hello, long time no see.. I continue restoring my '68 GT, already drove it and it goes nice and smooth. I'd like to ask you two questions:
1. I found that the body was not bolted to the floor. I must lift the body at least 1-1/2" above the floor, to get more space while sitting inside, so my head won't touch the roof. So there is a gap of 1-1/2" (see photo) - what can I insert into this gap? It should be flexible, so I was thinking of a tick-wall rubber hose (like a sand blasting hose), but a 3/4" thick hose wall is too thick. So may be two hoses, one above the other? or do you have any better idea?
Also - how many bolts should I put? do you think that 8 bolts (4 at each side) is sufficient?
2. There is a decorative fiberglass cover over the headlight (see photo). Does it need to be glued? obviously not, because I need to get access to the inside. So how is it connected without falling off?
Many thanks for your help!

Hi Gary, thank you for the drawings and sorry for the delayed response... I am trying to export my Bradley GT to Europe (France) and the Customs there requires to see the original manufacturer specifications... they want to verify that the car was not changed from it's original, otherwise they won't let me import it into the country. It might sound funny to you but that's the way it works in most of the countries in Europe. Do you have any additional technical information about the Bradley GT? Of can you refer me to anything? For example, is it written anywhere about the tire size? I know it is the same as for beetle, but still is there anything mentioned about tires? I'm asking because Customs and the local DMV are very tough on tires size, they won't let wide tires or larger wheel size, or anything which is different than the original...
Thanks! TS

Hello, I'm new to this forum with a '68 Bradley GT that I recently purchased.
Currently working on the wires, then need to fix the doors... and lights.. motor looks fine, already got it started.
Does anybody have official technical specifications of the car? I mean - dimension, weight, wheel base, etc... I know that some data is identical to a beetle, but still body specifications are different. Is there a manufacturer list that includes all the technical specifications?
Thanks, TS
