No need to worry about Jeff guys. He's a busy guy with a lot on his plate. He gets the CD's out as soon as he can, but it can sometimes be a little bit before you hear from him. But you will get them. I'm sure you'll hear from him pretty quick.
Hell, he's probably on the road in the Brad. Are you over 500k yet Jeff?? Or is it 600 now LOL

Thanks all!
When you sat underground, you mean buried in conduit, or more like a underground fence for dogs? Other than crossing a small run off area that stays wet most of the year, I suppose it would be possible. I was kind of thinking something simple that only records when motion is detected. I was looking at putting solar powered motion activated LED flood lights out there as well. I see a lot of stuff is accessible over the internet and allows email notification with snap shots when the motion detectors are activated. That would be nice. Living in the rural area we do, I don't want something professionally monitored as it would go off all the time with the deer and such in the yard.

As most of you know, we own a small rubbish company. We're one of the biggest small guys in our area, but still operate with only one large truck. We run a couple of small trucks too, but they dump into the large truck. On the 4th of July, someone set fire to our big truck and it's a total loss. Now we're dealing with the nice insurance mess that follows. This includes the replacement of the truck and the massive clean up in my back yard of all the hydraulic oil and diesel that leaked all over the place, spread around by the 1,000 gallons of water to put the fire out. Estimates on that are around 15k as we'll have to have around 30 to 50 yards of contaminated soil removed then replaced. As for the truck, we're hoping they'll pay out enough to cover it. We paid 30k for that truck 8 years ago, and it will now cost 45k to replace it with the same year truck. Not to mention, you don't just run to the local car dealer to get one of these trucks. Best deal we've found is in Utah, 2,400 miles from me. Road trip! Anyways....... I seem to remember a few of you being into home surveillance systems and thought I'd see who might know something about them. The area where I park the trucks is an easy 500 feet from the house with no power. So I'm not sure if there is any type of reasonably priced system that will accomplish this. I know there are wireless cameras that are battery or solar powered, but 500 feet is a long way. I'd love to find something that runs to a DVR, but to a computer would be ok too. Any thoughts???

This one should be no problem for virus' and such as it's a free comunity board. Just like a yahoo group, there is a company standing behind this to make sure their servers are safe. Otherwise, they can't sell the ads ;D

Thanks all, right now money isn't the concern. It may be in the future with the type of site I'd like to do, but that's down the road and you'll all know about it before it happens.
I've got a couple feelers out right now for some setup help, but I may very well touch base with your son Gary. I just want somethign simple for right now so I can get use of the domain name back and off Googles blacklist.

Alright, after a few weeks of the site getting worse and worse, I put the old board in maintence mode to protect people from it. I know it's a pain in the neck to have to sign up for another site, but wanted a temporary place for everyone to use until a new site can be done.
I can't wait to be done with that site. Now that I put the board in maintainence mode, I know can't seem to get access to it myself. Which make no sence at all. That's never happened before when I did it, so now who knows if I'll be able to get back in there.
Anyway, at least there's a safe place to use for the time being!

First and formost, I want to get a simple new site up on a new server that I can then point BradleyGT.com to. Then I can get Google to unblock the site.
I'll be honest, my web design skill are long out of date. If someone can help me out on this, I'd really appreciate it. All I want is a home page, and another message board. All of this would be temporary, so simple is perfect!! I know there are a few of you out there doing this type of thing now, so feel free to chime in.
I'll do it your way, point me to the server and I'll get it. Tell me what to do, and it's done. We can work together with you having full access to the site while it's being done.

Everything should be all set on the main board. I've been accessing it all along with the offending scripts blocked. They are no longer showing up on my blocker when I go to the site.

Thanks for looking into it Greg, I was hoping it didn't cause to many problems on your server. I was getting a message that the "upgrade.php" had not been removed and that was a security risk.
Research I've done online look like this is a recent attack on YABB coded boards. Sounded like computers that searched out the boards that were not protected well enough and had at them.

The site is also accessing google-analyze.org and pinoc.org. I did find online that for those of you running Mozilla Firefox, you can add the NoScript add-on. This automatically blocks all scripts and allows you to choose which to allow. I added it, when to the site, and it loaded no problem and told me it blocked both of the above. I choose to make them "Untrusted" from now on. The info on NoScript specifically says it works against this type of attack.
This isn't a fix, but it will let you on. I'm going to post the link to this board again and poke around the admin on the board. I've read this may be an img file.

I've had the message board lock up on me twice while trying to access it. I did notice on the bottom of the browser that it was accessing pinoc.org while loading the page. Maybe some of you that are a little more up on this stuff can research that a little. It does seem to be off and on as I noticed it slow to load yesterday, but didn't think anything of it. Then it was acting fine last night. Today it blanked out my browser. I seem to have no computer problems now.
Problem still is that I have no access to the site. I dropped aline to Greg to let him know what's up. I can create a whole new site without needing access to the old server, BUT all the info on the message board will be lost as soon as I change the domain name to a new server. Well, not lost, but not able to see it anymore. Sounds like it may just be time to say screw it and start over. I really hate to lose all that great data on the message board.

OK, just found yet another problem. Finally got my inbox working, or so I thought. I could finally view it, once I actually started clicking messages to reply with this board info, all the messages have the same spam message. Right headers and senders, but not their message body.
I sent out a handful or e-mails, but I really don't have that many people since I had to go way back to before my e-mail problems. So again, contact as many people as you can. I'll get the site links as quick as I can, but until then no one knows we're here. Or as of right now, no one knows "I'm" here ;D

This has been a total pain in the ass! I've been real busy so didn't notice the board had crashed until it had already been down for 3 weeks. Leading up to that, my e-mail went down and I could not get it fixed. I "think" I finally have that working again after about 5 hours of work over the last few day. Looks like someone sent me three 7.5meg pictures of their very nice car.....100 times!! It completely locked up the e-mail server so I couldn't even access it. It crashed my Mozilla every time I tried to open my inbox due to the HUGE file size of my inbox. It would often lock up my machine. So with all that, I never got all the e-mails from you guys telling me the board was down. The main problem here is that I can not regain access to my server without help from Greg and I have not been able to reach him. He is the one that created the board on my site on his server, so without getting in touch with him, I'm kind of screwed. I am going to be moving the site to a new server and will most likely create an entirely new site with many of the changes we have talked about in the past. I don't want to make the switch to a new temp site until I've cought up with Greg, as once I change bradleygt.com to the new server, I wont be able to view the current site. So anyway, while I work on all that, I wanted to get something up. No one is going to be able to find this site unless you let them know. Again, no access to my server means I can't change the link on the site to point to this board. SO, if you have contact info or e-mails for any of our members, please drop them a line with this address. bradleygt.proboards67.com/index.cgi
